Everyone has a different image in their mind’s eye when it comes to the most romantic hideaway on the planet, and an exotic escape to a secluded spot where the climate is warm, the sea tepid and spa treatments are ever beckoning is likely to satiate most dreams and desires.

Club Med Kani in the Maldives is an unspoilt paradise and as the lowest lying nation in the world the Maldives unfortunately won’t be around forever.  The island paradise is predicted to disappear under water within the next 100 years.

Club Med Kani exudes tranquillity and is the ultimate tropical escape in an exquisite location.  Guests are treated to a choice of suites, villas or luxurious overwater bungalows fringing the far end of the island and fanning out across the lagoon.

Relax in the 5-trident space reserved exclusively for Overwater Lagoon Suite guests – free-flow champagne from 6-8pm daily, overwater lounge to relax and priority check-in area.

50 Tips and Ideas For Man Cave Decor

Turning a barn into a man cave is a wonderful idea. All the wood on the walls, floor and ceiling makes it feel really welcoming. You don’t have to cover up the walls. In fact, they stand out more if you don’t. (found on heritagebarns).

There’s something about this type of leather furniture that makes it really elegant and gives it a masculine look. This bachelor pad features a combination of industrial elements mixed with Victorian accessories, resulting in a space with plenty of steampunk character.

Not everyone finds the same things fun or interesting. So if you’re not a fan of playing sports but you like being a spectator and a collector, this can be reflected in your man cave décor through things like a huge monitor to watch the games on or framed memorabilia on the walls.

Architecture and Interior Design – Community – Google+

We want to welcome all who have joined the Architecture and Interior Design community.

This “open to the great outdoors” concept would work well by connecting several detached parts of a home, that might include a detached guest cottage, and a detached home office, or detached studio for painting, arts and crafts, or a recording studio. It’s up to you! Think it up and Texas Tiny Homes can design and build it for you.

ANTOINE is a tribute to the alpine experience and to the writer. The small wooden cabin, big enough for the life of one man, is hidden inside a projected concrete rock. Referring to the long lasting Swiss tradition of hidden bunkers, the project integrates the highly urbanised landscape of the Alps. Already described by the French philosopher Paul Virilio in 1975, military architecture conducted by principles of camouflage has, for long, fascinated the architects.

ANTOINE creates an alpine shelter, a precarious «Existenzminimum» somewhat subversive in its use where one can freely enter and hide. It contains the very basic architectural elements – fire place, bed, table, stool, window – but demands to the visitor some risk taking as the rock hangs literally on the rock fall field.
