These pictures were taken yesterday in the Granbury Community we have purchased 12 lots so far. These site-built homes by other builders or individuals are obviously not “tiny”, nor are the ones we will be building in the community due to the minimum size requirements in the deed restrictions, but it’s a good sign to see new homes going up in the older development, and these larger homes provide added assurance we made the right decision with this community.
There are also about 10 brand new modular homes that have been brought into the community since we started buying lots this time last year, which is another good sign and provides additional assurance we made a good decision. The community has been in Granbury since the 80’s and has much older site built and modular homes scattered around the community but some of those older homes are being replaced with new ones, which also provides some additional assurance.
UPDATE: Due to the extreme price gouging with new home construction we are not available to build you a new home at this time!!Our wooded lots have an 800 square feet minimum requirement, but depending on the lot size, we can build you a larger home. We are planning to offer site-built luxury homes starting around $150K for the smaller footage requirement homes, including the land.
If you would be interested in having Texas Tiny Homes custom design and build you a home on our Granbury lots this link provides information on how to get the process started.
Plan 1044 has never been fully produced with an architectural software until now. The current plan was done old school by yours truly, so 3D renderings and a detailed materials list and an HVAC plan will soon be available when purchased, and will be provided to those who have already purchased the original version.
Below is a picture of the work in progress between myself and our lead draftsmen who is currently working on the production. Its a back and forth process with myself and our draftsmen. We are also going to offer an expanded version of Plan 1044 that will have a larger dining room, a mud room, full utility room and a 6-bed, bunk house and bath up over the garage, which could be a guest suite, or a media room, or an art studio. It’s up to you!!
The following rendering was done by an architect I work with in New York a few years ago. He took my old school floor plan and uploaded the living room and kitchen into his software and modeled a couple of renderings with furniture and accessories.

We just designed this traditional style home for a client that is going to be built in the Old Towne Historic District, Haslet, Texas. The two-story home has 2804 square feet of air-conditioned footage, but is 3730 feet under roof, including a large covered front porch, and an even larger rear covered porch, with a fireplace. The luxury plan will be available in our online store sometime next week. We will also offer a slightly larger version of this new plan that will have a two-car garage.
