Our New Lots | Granbury, TX

We have purchased 4 wooded lots so far in Granbury, Texas and the pictures above show 3 of those lots, which backup to a giant ranch. There are only a couple of homes on this street and most of the lots are covered with trees, so these lots provide a pretty secluded, tranquil setting.

Our first model will be Plan 607B or Plan 630 (which are both available in our online store). The small rustic luxury models will be built on one of these three lots, and will have a secluded feel about it, sort of like a cabin in the woods.

Our goal is to offer new site-built, luxury homes in this Granbury community starting at $99K, but until we get the model built that price is tentative. Expanding Plan 1187 | Update

The software production for the expansion of Plan 1187 is almost finished and it’s looking really good. Adding the 2-car garage, a mudroom, a utility room, and bunk house/playroom for the kids, or grand kids, that is located over garage and has a full bath room up there, worked out really well. This small luxury home will make a great lake house, or ski cabin in the mountains.

However this 100-year-old barn t…Built in the 1920’s, the barn features wide-plank wood floors and hand-hewn beams. The entire ground floor is an open-plan living space. The original barn doors were replaced by a pair of French doors giving a view of farm fields with the Catskill Mountains in the distance.

East Texas

East Texas is great for many reasons, including the scenic landscape that features pine trees, hard oaks, as well as dogwood trees, that are lovely this time of year. There are also a dozen or so great lakes too, that a gorgeous, including Lake O the Pines, and Lake Athens, two of my favorites. There are also lots of great historic towns throughout East Texas including Athens, Canton, Tyler, and Jefferson, probably my favorite. These pictures were taken last February when I made a quick 2-day tour of those towns, and their surroundings. We have locked in on a property in East Texas for our first Texas Tiny Homes community and have been working to raise investor capital but have not met the perfect partner yet. The interest for lots in this future community have been really strong.
